This Year Must Be Better Than Previous Years

Almost everyone, at the beginning of the year, wishes the new year is better than the previous ones especially the last one. Meanwhile, there are simple steps that are needed to be taken in order to make their wishes come to be. Some important ones to be taken are highlighted below:

1. Make Another Attempt: What you fail in last year, attempt it again. This time around, attempt goals that are bigger than you. Visionize greater heights. If you fail again, don’t quit, it is not up to seven times yet as a holy book suggests; and if you have failed up to seven times, it is not up to one thousand times yet. Haven’t you read how many times he failed before he finally invented incandescent lamp? That was Thomas Edison!

2. Count the Cost: Before you start anything, count the cost. Make sure you have enough resources that will see you through the programme or adventure. Though you may not get or know the exact cost, but there is a need to have a blue print you are working with. It is highly important you have enough as per all resources required for any adventure you are about to delve into so that you can have a positive mind shift that is required of a winner.

3. Review Your Plan Always: Your written-down plan for the whole year must be revisited and reviewed at all time. It is better to plan for the whole year, but the goals must be broken down to smaller constituents that are achievable per time. This will help you in revisiting and revising your goals for the year. Otherwise, your goals for the year may be lying dormant.

4. Never See Yourself As An Achiever: When you see yourself as an achiever, as somebody that has arrived, it will be very difficult to move ahead. Let others see you as an achiever; and when they verbalize it, it is a signal to set a bigger goal and achieve more. Don’t be tired until you are emptied of all that you are endowed with. Never retired until your last breath!

There are signs already that this year will be better than the previous ones, but one thing you have to do on your own part is to work at it.

Wishing you the best of the new year!
