Despites the negative perceptions of men about DECEMBER, despites of their thoughts of hurt, God is saying there shall be no hurt! In Acts 27:10, just like the way people these days have tagged the Month of December with evils, Apostle Paul had a negative perception about their journey. He thought much of damage about their voyage.
”And (Paul) said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.”
God is saying, “There shall be no loss.” No loss of life, children, grand children, properties, business, job, family members and friends. There shall be no shed of blood in any form in Jesus’ name. In verse 23 of the chapter, when Paul tuned his spirit man to that of the Holy Spirit, he had the Lord speaking through his angel that there shall be no hurt.
“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 27:24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ALL THEM THAT SAIL WITH YOU.”
As you are heading out to and fro places; as you are going about your routines day and night; as you are going about your tasks everyday, their shall be no hurt nor loss of any kind!
For this to come to pass in your life this month and every month of the year, there are things to do.
- Seek guidance from the Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit will always guide you to take the right steps. He will make you to do right things always if you are conversant of His presence, you do not grieve Him to leave you and you speak with Him when you want to take a decision concerning any task. Ask Him! He will speak with you and guide you.
- Guide against your heart: While walking on water, Peter started sinking when he had negative thoughts. Do not accommodate fear of any kind, no matter what is at stake. In an automobile, in a boat and even in a ship, do not be afraid of any accident. It can never happen!
- Mind Your Company: Most times, the calamities some people face is not because of their sins but because of the companies they travel with; like in the case of Jonah that was heading to Nineveh instead of Tarshish. If you have a discerning spirit, you can disembark on such journey. For instance. I parked my car, on a particular journey to join a public transport. As I was about to enter, the man I was supposed to sit with was not even shifting. When I finally entered to sit beside him, it was not comfortable. By my own opinion, I don’t think I need Holy Spirit to communicate anything here. I quickly took a decision to disembark from the journey as I alighted from the vehicle with the speed of light.
Happy Christmas in advance!
