When I visited a particular blog, while I was a reading a post that caught my attention of all the posts on the FrontPage, a sentence came across my sight and my mind kept going back to the statement; “Careful examination of our lives will give us what the future holds.

Sincerely and truthfully speaking, the careful examinations of our lives will give us what the future says. Paul in the Bible says: “Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” – 1 Corinthians 10:12.

I’m not trying to be spiritual; there should be balance in everything we do on this surface earth. Heaven is our home actually, but don’t let us forget that, we have about 120 years to spend on this foreign land called earth. And one of the yardsticks to measure our success in life is how successful we are in our professions and businesses. Financial success! I would also not hesitate to repeat again that, financial success should boost our spiritual success at last. Success here on earth should culminate into our making heaven.

WE will have money to spend for and spread the gospel. It takes money to spread the gospel. Maybe, you are prayer warrior, and you think it’s your prayer alone. NO! Prayer alone cannot do it, though it can open the door for the provisions. Therefore, as the quoted verse above is always been used to watch ourselves spiritually, so that we don’t fall off the road of salvation; it can also be applied to our success in our jobs and businesses.

There are several reasons why people fail financially in their careers and businesses. They think they have arrived. Businesses fail at different stages, some at the beginning, some don’t use up to 2 years, and so on and so forth. He that thinks he stand in business needs to take heed lest he fall!

What are the ways to prevent the failure of a business that is already growing? What are the ways to be financially stable in our professions and careers?

(1) Don’t stop putting your workers as the number one to be paid before you even pay yourself. When you started, you pay your worker well in order to retain them. Now that you are growing, you have to think of making your workers to also grow financially. You have to pay them better! We know it’s not the job of an employer to make the employees rich, but you can make them grow financially. Before you pay yourself, before you spend money on all other assets, pay your workers first. When you forget where you’re from, you forget where you’re going!

(2) Improve on all the methods and principles you have been using. The methods and principles you started with may not be outdated. So you continue to get the same results with them, but every business wants to improve, and every professional wants to grow financially. Hence, you have to allow a change, even if it is a slight one, in all those old principles and methods, in order to experience different results.

(3) Always appreciate all that are contributing to your financial success. You have to learn to appreciate everyone that is contributing to the success of your company and your personal success, especially those that are not part of your staff. It’s very important. Always remember as you are appreciating God, your workers, there are external efforts to appreciate.
