What You Ought to Do with Your Money

In the biblical days and the history of great countries, money is used to buy slaves. These slaves, no matter where they came from became the properties of the buyer.

Genesis 17:13 He that is born in your house, and he that is bought with your money, must need be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

The slaves that had been bought with money became the owner’s. You could make him anything you like, you could make him either your servant or son.

Asides that, the main reason for buying slaves in those days is to make them work for you. You can make them work for you in your farm or in your house. Slaves normally are not liabilities. they are assets.

That is what you ought to do with your money. There is no slave markets these day, but there are stock markets. Your stocks are your slaves, just because they are working for you everyday to bring you daily income which can be deposited into your account at the end of the month.

Meanwhile, there are better slaves to buy with our money. They are assets that bring money into your pockets everyday. Stocks are assets that bring money into your pockets monthly or quarterly, and don’t forget, we spend everyday.

I’m not saying you should retire from your day job that either earn you wages or salaries, but you have to think of what to buy with the money you earn that can add to your income daily or at least monthly.

Are you thinking of saying what we ought to do with our money is to save it. Saving is not wrong at all, but it is not an end in itself, it is a means to an end. The best reason for saving should be for buying assets – assets that generate daily income. Those are true assets.

Hence, what you ought to do with your money is not saving it. In the day of Abraham and our founding fathers, there were no banks. And many of them were declared very rich. I think it’s now obvious that, it is not the amount of money you accumulate that make you rich or wealthy. It is what you do with the money – and this is by buying true assets, that generate daily income for you.

Slaves are good! Your assets are your slaves. Get more of them, and be financially free and wealthy.
