Listening to audio books does not have the same effect as reading books. It does have a better effect!
Listening to audio books instead of reading print books helps in high retention of whatever book we have listened to. People learn in different ways: By touching, seeing, listening, interacting, and do on and so forth. While it is good to maximize all these ways of learning, research still has it that many people learn when they hear over and over a particular audio, just like music. But it is not at all that easy to read over and over a particular book.
You can listen to audio books at awkward time. You may be driving and still listening to audio. You may be dosing and still listening to audio books. While undertaken house chores, you may still be listening to your audio books. This makes you to maximize time and make you learn everyday.
Listening to audio books makes you retain high percentage of what you have read. Reading print books is very good but listening to audio books has a better effect in all ramifications.
