There Are Two Black Birds Sitting on the Wall: One Flew Away Without Telling the Other

Please SHARE, if you find it helpful to others. Thanks!

These two black birds remind me of a Nursery rhyme we did sing when we were young :

There are two black birds sitting on a wall,

One named Peter, One named Paul,

Fly away Peter, Fly away Paul,

Come back Peter, Come back Paul,

Come back the two little black birds.

As I was reading in the library,

It was raining cat and dog outside,

These two black birds landed,

On the Sill of the window.

Only God knows,

What they were discussing,

Sometimes they agree,

Sometimes they disagree.

As the discussion continues,

One flies away,

Without informing the other,

Such is life for you guys.

The Lesson: There are some times you need others’ advice, and you get this by having a discussion with them. Thereafter, you need to sit down and think and take a personal decision. This is because, you have to be responsible for your personal decision whether the outcome is positive or negative, you can’t say,” I was advised to do it.” Success is a personal thing!
