Whatever you have now, one day would either become a toy only useful for children to play with or neglected and become a dilapidated item, except only in few cases.

As at the time we were about to graduate from higher institution (College), only few of us were using handsets excluding me; I was very desperate to have my own. To show the level of my desperation, immediately I became a Corp member, and I was being paid allowances, I quickly bought a SIM Card for myself. I didn’t wait for enough cash to buy both phone and SIM card. Desperation indeed!

You would be surprised how much I bought the SIM Card, I bought it at the cheaper rate of Ñ27,000 (it just came down from Ñ32,000). Everybody knows how much it is being sold today, between Ñ0 and Ñ100. Some months after I bought Nokia 3310 (nicknamed ‘Call-me-back, my-hand-is-aching). I was very happy for a mission accomplished, for fulfilling one of my written-down short-term goals.

We know any product can either be an asset or a liability. I started spending money on recharging my phone for credit to be able to make calls. Thereafter, I neglected the phone because I was spending a lot on maintaining its usage.

The phone that I was desperate to get actually became a toy some years later, in fact, you can’t find it in the market any longer. Later, my SIM Card was blocked, and I couldn’t get the PUK to get it unlocked. Even when I later found it, I was not interested again because its price had almost reduced to zero.

The moral lesson in this is that whenever you are in need of anything; don’t be desperate about it, though desperation has its advantages sometimes. Live your level per time, because whatever you have now would soon be replaced due to one reason or another.

Whatever you have now, one day would either become a toy only useful for children to play with or neglected and become a dilapidated item, except only in few cases.

There Is Always a Millionaire in Every Family: If It Is So, Why Are Some Members of the Family Not Making It?

Sat Jun 8 , 2019
If one person can be a millionaire in your family, it therefore means nothing is wrong with your brain. You're not dull — you're not a dullard and you're not a slow learner. If you can have a millionaire in your family, it therefore means you can also make it, if only you can do what he/she is doing. A rich man is the wise man, be humble to learn from him. If you claim you are very wise, why can't you use your wisdom in the accumulation of wealth that is very useful in this life that we are in?
