One Proved Way of True Riches

There is one sure way to live a wealthy life. This is by remembering the Lord your God in all that you do. This may sound too spiritual, but it is nothing but the whole truth.

Deuteronomy 8:18:

“But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day.”

There are many ways that serve as avenues to remembering God. Let me just mention 3 of them quickly.

1. Working: Divinity has seen work as normal. God works, Jesus works, and Holy Spirit works very hard hitherto. It’s a sin if you’re not working. Idleness is one of the sins committed by Sodom and Gomorrah. If you get wealth by any other means when you’re not working and your money is not working for you, it can never be true riches.

2. Tithing: Another way to remember God is to give a tenth part of all increases in our lives back to him, for he is the giver of every good thing.

“Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.”

How would you rob someone and still expect him/her to bless you with Tue riches. Robbers can never have through riches.

3. In communion: You have to commune with God in prayers and Holy Communion. Jesus Christ, by himself, commanded us to eat the Holy Communion often and often in his remembrance (I Corinthians 11:23 – 25). When you do this, he is going to entrust true riches in your stead.

“1 Corinthians 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”

If possible do this every morning and night in remembrance of him, and wait to see him bless you according to his riches.

  1. Remembering HIM should become an eternal part of our life,it should happen with every breathe that we take and we should get so use to doing it that even when we are talking the recital happens automatically.

    1. If we can live by that principle as you have stated. there would be no chaos at all, not to talk of war, insurgency and all sorts in the whole world. Peace! and thanks for that thoughtful comment.

  2. Hello Peter. This is just beautiful, and on point. We should do our work as if working for the Lord. It’s not so much the paycheck at the end of the week, but the many rewards He will give when our hearts are right. To be blessed according to His riches, not the job. Thank you for visiting my Blog, and reading so many! What a blessing to wake up to! I’m honored and humbled by your presence. xxx

Leaders are Readers

Please SHARE, if you find it helpful to others. Thanks!Leadership is tantamount to readership. I wonder why some countries are leading the world! I’ve researched into this, and I’ve found out that, they don’t play with researches. They are sporadic readers, and they put to work what they have discovered. […]
