Coming to the Realization of Your True Self

Due to some circumstances, some have been deformed and converted to what they are not. They have been killed intellectually, they can no longer think straight. Their thinking capacity is fogged! They can not see clearly again. In fact, all their five (5) senses are no more working correctly. The sympathetic and deadliest part of it is that, their sixth sense – Spiritual sensitivity – has been incapacitated.

Until that popular elder son came to the realization of his true self, he was not restored (Luke 15:17).

And when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!’”

You need a change of mentality garnished with action to enter into your place in destiny. There is a place meant for you, and you alone! You just need to know what God has said about you, and what He is still saying. I wasn’t the one that said you’re a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar one, God said it. He said it through one of His saints (people like you) through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

It’s not the matter of size, you’re a giant.

It’s not the matter of status, you’re rich.

It’s not the matter of where you are, you’re in high places.

Kings don’t need to be dethroned, you’re a king.

Whether you’re in the House or not, you’re a senator.

Whether kings and queens are already coming to seek you or not, you’re a wise person.

Even if the darkness is still encompassed some areas of your life, you’re a light to the world

No matter your spiritual level now, you’re a potential prophet (Number 11:29).

And Moses said unto him, are you envy for my sake? Would God that all the LORD’S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them?

And you know what? Nothing can stop you from manifesting!

Thus says the Lord, if you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and there should not be day and night in their season; then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant; that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. As the host of heavens can not be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the descendants of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

Jeremiah 33:20-22. (One of Bishop David Oyedepo’s favourites)

If God’s covenant of the day and that of the night cannot be broken, then your greatness from generation to generation is intact.

It is time you come to the realization of your true self, for the people far and near are waiting for your manifestation. Your time is due!

Salvation still remains the number one condition to enjoy God’s blessings here on earth and to make it to heaven.

If you think you need salvation, it’s as simple as ABC.

  1. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and receive Him into your life (John 1:12a).
  2. Believe unto righteousness with your heart (John 1:12c, Romans 10:10a).
  3. Confess with your mouth. With the mouth, confession is made unto salvation (Romans10:10b).

You’re now born again! If you need counselling about life and how to grow in grace, visit a living church near your house.

Best wishes and regards!

  1. Thank you for your encouraging post Brother Peter and I love it that you are not afraid to introduce and invite unbelievers to the blessings of salvation.

    1. Why not? It’s just that one has to be wise and prayerful on reaching out, though it may he urgent, for the harvest ripe, but it shouldn’t be by force. It’s going to be counted as selfishness, if we don’t share the joy of salvation. It’s only salvation that guarantees sage landing, no matter how stormy the weather and the flight is! Thanks a million for the love shared, it’s not taking for granted.

  2. This is great! So many people I feel are afraid of their true selves as well. Some know they could be better or greater but don’t want to carry the burden. They don’t want to make the sacrifice. Instead they are content with being someone else. I found great pleasure and admiration in reading your post. Continue to be blessed!

  3. Thank you sir for this encouraging and great reminder of who we truly are.
Ps. I like the way you end your post.. He who draws men to God is wise.
