These pictures above were taken last December in University of Ibadan Zoological/Botanical Garden and Trans Amusement Park both in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

These two places have become living heritage just because, the Zoo had been there before I was born, and the Amusement Park is about 30 years old now.

If you are impacted with this write-up, get any of these three books for more. Thank you.

  1. The giraffe is named Ajoke. A friend was always at my mercy right after we visited the Ibadan zoo for the first time just because she is named Ajoke too….😃

    1. My daughter was fighting us that the giraffe is bearing the same name with her too. We have to explain and re-explain before she understands us. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Looks like quite a few animals at the zoo. So true that each zoo is its own heritage – there are so many endangered animals today and zoos do serve as a point to protect quite a few of them. Hope you had a good time there and it looked like the animals were happy to see you, especially the camel 🙂

    1. We shot many of them including Lion, Leopard, many birds, Ducks, monkeys. These were just the selected few. I have never posted with this number of pictures. Thanks for commenting!
